We are currently seeking an Operations Department Coordinator to join our team at our offices in Thessaloniki.
As a Sales Support Representative & Logistics operation officer, you are responsible for supporting the Sales Executives to increase the efficiency of our sales activities and to grow business within the organization of CFS Cargo & Freight Services in Greece and to assist the Business Units (Land, Sea, Air, Logistics, Inland, Domestic, Customer Service, Documentation, Finance & Administration, and IT) with the successful implementation of the strategy.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
• Support Operations Executives in developing and managing customer portfolios within designated areas as part of an effective operations team.
• Communicate with shipping lines and road transport companies to coordinate transport projects in English.
• Schedule and dispatch trucks, ensuring timely deliveries and negotiating rates with carriers.
• Manage ocean freight bookings, container handling, and coordination with shipping lines.
• Handle customs documentation and ensure full regulatory compliance for all shipments.
• Coordinate multimodal transport operations (road/sea/air) to ensure seamless transitions between transport modes.
• Work closely with Customer Service and other relevant departments to maintain high service standards.
• Provide support to existing and potential customers across sales channels.
• Perform data entry and utilize the company’s internal system (ORIAN) and other commercial platforms.

Qualifications:
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Shipping, Logistics, or a related field from a reputable university (Master’s degree will be considered an asset).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the logistics industry.
• Proficiency in computer applications and logistics software systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
